I am really struggling with these problems!! A reaction mixture that consisted of 0.20 mol N2 and 0.20 mol H2 was introduced into a 25.0 L reactor and heated. At equilibrium, 5.0% of the nitrogen gas has reacted. What is the value of the equilibrium constant Kc for the ...

Benzene has a vapor pressure of 100.0 Torr at 26°C. A nonvolatile, nonelectrolyte compound was added to 0.309 mol benzene at 26°C and the vapor pressure of the benzene in the solution decreased to 60.0 Torr. What amount (in moles) of solute molecules were added to the ...

Chemistry
But if I cross multiply wouldnt it be .309/100 Torr since the pressure was 100 Torr when moles were .309. Once I solve for n, that is the amount of solute of Benzen--but I need the amount of solute molecules added. So to find that would I just find the difference in the moles ...

That is what I tried using...I solved for m for when P= 100 Torr, then used that to set up an equation when P=60 Torr to find the difference, but my answer is consistently incorrect. I am setting up the algebra incorrectly but am not sure what I am missing
