2x+3y=6 2x=6-3y [subtract 3y to solve for x] x=(6-3y)2 [divide by 2 to get x by itself] 2x+3y=6 3y=6-2x [subtract2x to solve for y] y=(6-2x)/3 [divide by 3 to get y by itself]

could you please check my work? thanks. For the reaction between reactants A and B below, if 4.925 moles of A is placed into a flask with excess B it is found that the amount of A remaining after 6.85 seconds is 2.737 moles. 2A (g) + B (g)-----> 3 C (g) a. find the rate of ...

why does the value of i (van t' hoff factor) change with regards to theoretical vs. experimental? i'm not quite sure what happens but i know it has to do with ions in the solution. could it be attractive forces between ions?
