hey guys im stumped and burning out. Its mid term time. I got 5 midterms and lab test. i think im making this more complex than needed what is 10mg/dL Ca in mEq/L can u show me a simple way using the valence ? My answer doesnt make sense. ---------------------------- N=(gram s...

damn i never thought of kg of solution. your so smart. 2.00mol x 40 g/m= 80grams dissolved in water. so 80 grams of solute and 1000 water. Chemistry doesnt make sense too me sometimes. Im use to thinking water =ml. But kg can be a solution too if you weigh it on an analytical ...

how many grams of NAOH are needed to make a 2.00 molal solution? I got stuck here 2.00 molal=2.00 mole/kg molecular weight of NAOH= 40g/mol (2.00 g/molecular weight x kg) x 40 g/mol= stuck thanks jim

Hydrogen bond v covalent how are they sim and diff Both involve chemical bonds where bonds are formed from electrostatic forces covalent bonds involve the sharing of electrons between atoms. Outer valence shells are filled by the sharing of atoms. This creates a strong bond Hy...

thanks. ok heres what i got from the book. the post synaptic neuron receives a chemical signal and generates the electrical signal. for the axon problem my teacher said sensory neurons transmit a signal along its axon to the cell body. The motor neuron tranmits a electrical si...

hi do dendrites generate or conduct impulses and do axons transmit to and from the cell body or do they transmit it away. thanks jim

My teacher said hyrostatic pressure is when a pressure is exerted on a membrane due to an increase in volume. This cause water to move from a low con to a high con and for osmotic he said the opposite. Its the force that cause water to move into a cell. Its due to a high solut...

hi i have a few questions 1)osmotic pressure Basically, i got that its the pressure opposing osmois. can you explain it to me ? 2)hydroltic pressure Im thinking that its the pressure that builds up due to a higher concentration. Must be like potiential energy.
