The answer is NO - the universe is NOT geocentric. Geocetricity was a belief held many, but we have since found out that our Earth is not the ceter of everything; far from it.

Thank you Ms. Sue but, unfortunately, this is not the term I was searching for. (It is a longer name. I know there is a pediment, but that, too, is due to erosion, if I remember correctly.)

I know that a peneplain is a flat area due to erosion, but what is the term for a flat area due to deposition? I am generally very successful with searching the internet, but I could not find the term I am looking for. Could you please help? Thank you!
