I am calculating the percentage of error again, and the expression is 2.76-.7/.7, I got 2.94. Should I move the decimal over so it's 29.4?

I have to find the percentage of error. The accepted value is 11.35, while the value I got is 2.564. I got 2.564-11.35/11.35, and got a negative answer. Can percentages of error be negative? Thanks-Coralie.

For chemistry, I have to make a line graph. My teacher specifically instructed us to make one with smooth, fluid lines, not with choppy ones, so it would form a curve. I am suppposed to find the slope of the line, but I don't know how to, because the line goes up and down ...

I'm currently a sophomore, and I need to plan a science course for next year. Do you know if colleges require physics? Would a college prefer to see physics on my transcript in oppose to Environmental Sciences or Astronomy? Thanks!!

Another confusing significant digit problem. I added 36.6 and 2.4, and divided the result by 4.803. The book says the answer is 7.91, but I don'[t see how that could be, since the lowest number of significant digits in the problem is two (2.4). I think the result should be...

We are currently studying significant digits/figures. I was asked to add 150 ml with 76.9 ml, plus 209 ml plus 0.036 ml. The book says the answer is 440, but I got 435. (the complete answer, without applying the significant digits rule is 435.936) How did I do this incorrectly?

**Writing**

I can see why that'd be so hard to write, because either way wouldn't be the best ending. Maybe she could choose the crush, but she would accidentally find out from some gossipy girl that it was the friend who set them up, the friend who really loves her. That way you ...
