Use Descarte's rule of signs to discuss the possibilities for the roots of the equation. Do not solve the equation -5r^(4)+6r^(3)+9r-15=0

math
Use the rational zero theorem, Descartes rule of signs, and the theorem on bounds as aids in finding all real and imaginary roots to the following equation: 4x^(3)-17x^(2)+16=0

solve the equation for all real and imaginary solutions (x-3/2)^2-2(x-3/2)+26=0

Find all real solutions: sqrt(x+10)+ sqrt(x-1)=11

The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 22 m long. The length of one leg is 10 m less than the other. Find the lengths of the legs. I have so far let one leg be x the other leg will be x-10 x^2 +(x-10)^2=22^2 x^2+x^2-20x+100=484
