Job Openings: Business Manager
Jiskha Homework Help is looking to hire a business manager to manage the activities and staff of an organization dedicated to developing, forecasting and managing key business areas. Provide finance management with an independent forecast and assessment of key data pertaining to the specific business area and programs contained within. Ensure adequate warning to management for cost, schedule, sales and profit risks for the above.
Goals
Develop and execute analyses of current member initiatives
Provide initiatives and ideas to improve overall performance
Financial and strategic projects as directed
Work closely with and serve as day-to-day liaison between Finance department and President
Participate and present in Senior Management meetings
Requirements
1-3 years of relevant prior work experience in education driven company or institution; direct marketing experience a plus
Bachelors or higher in Business, Finance or related field preferred
Must have strong experience in financial analysis, reporting and/or budgeting
Strategic, proactive team player
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects in changing environment
Located in or near the Northeast Ohio region (Cleveland-Akron area)
