by Kristyn Conner
"The Headless Cupid"
by Zilpha Keatley Snyder
David and his siblings Janie, Esther, and Blair, are trying to adjust to their newest sibling, Amanda.
Amanda's mom, Molly, has just married their dad, and as if that wasn't worse
enough, Amanda isn't what they'd call normal. She begins to inform them of her
interests: the paranormal, séances, and initiations. She invites them to join
her in her activities, and they become absorbed in learning as much as they can.
But, they never try as hard to learn more until they learn that the house was
once haunted by a poltergeist. When freaky things start happening at the house
as they once did before when the ghost haunted the place, everyone believes that
the ghost is back. Read "The Headless Cupid" to find out the conclusion.
