Yes, it is divergent. However, using the indefinite integral to establish this is not recommended. This is because in most cases, the indefinite integral cannot be expressed in terms of elementary functions. You need to consider first if the integral might be divergent at some...

Do you think the following is a weak or strong thesis statement: “The subject of this paper is my experience with teaching elementary school children”? If yes, why is it weak? How could you improve it? If no, what qualities do you think it has that make it adequate?

v = ∫πy^2 dx [0,π] = ∫πcos^2(cosx) dx [0,π] that is not something you can evaluate using elementary functions. wolframalpha can do it, but it's done numerically, fer shure!

The word "elementary" has 4 vowels and 6 consonants so prob(consonant) = 6/10 = 3/5 (I counted y as a consonant, perhaps an English teacher could confirm if this is correct)

Calculus
good luck on this. You sure there's no typo? If you had ∫x^2 e^(x^3/2) dx that would be fine, since that would be very much like e^u du. But without that factor out front, this is not an elementary integral.
