Revise this sentence. Can you help me? I'm having trouble with the subject and verb. Plato was born around 428 B.C. His family was part of the Roman aristocracy. Many of his family members were active in politics. But Plato consciously resisted ever becoming a statesman himself.
Do you need to find the subject and verb in each of those sentences?
I'm looking for cohesiveness among all these sentences as one phrase.
One sentence? Certainly not one phrase. And I don't think Plato ever visited Rome. Where was he from?
