I have an Art portfolio for installation art i was wondering if i can get any ideas for it

I have an idea for it but im not sure if its installation art its crayon art im not sure how to explain it but if you dont know what it is you can search it on google

Thanks for the help in advance

You'll need to be MUCH more specific than this.

What is "installation art"?
What is "crayon art"?
Etc.

Installation art art that is created, constructed, or installed on the site where it is exhibited, often incorporating materials or physical features on the site

Crayon art is where you get crayons and glue them to the end of your canvas and get a blow dryer the blow dryer melts the crayons and makes cool designs thats why im not sure if its installation art i would put links but it wouldnt post my question when i tried.

It doesn't sound as if the two are the same at all.

Are you clear what "created, constructed, or installed on the site where it is exhibited" means?

would it be an example of an unconventional medium/unconventional art?

Would what be such an example?

crayon art

Isn't crayon art in its own category?

These look as they'd be fun to make and interesting to exhibit!

How would you include such an artwork in a portfolio?

The portfolio i have to do is make artwork that is either installation art, environmental art, or use an unconventional medium I thought that crayon art would be an unconventional medium/unconventional art i might want to keep looking for ideas

I can see how you might combine crayon art with installation art. But I'm not sure how you'd include it in a portfolio. Photographs of the finished work from different angles?
