Given f(x)=7-2x find f (x+5)

I'm not sure how to approach this problem.
I have done this so far:
F(x+5) = 7-2x
F(x+5)=7-2(x+5)
F(x+5)=7-(2x+10)
Not sure if this is right and what to do next.

Ms.sue may you help me? A user named Cory is keep on bothering me. Every time I post this question, Cory harasses by saying they know the answer and they aren't going to tell me. I need help with this issue and also with this math problem. Thank you for your time and effort

Sarah, I did this for you here

I also do not see any posts by Cory, so it looks like Ms Sue has taken care of it, and banned him.

To find f(x+5), you are on the right track. Let's continue solving the equation step by step.

Starting with f(x) = 7 - 2x, we substitute (x+5) in place of x, since we want to find f(x+5):

f(x+5) = 7 - 2(x+5)

Next, we distribute the -2 through the parentheses:

f(x+5) = 7 - 2x - 2(5)

Now, simplify within the parentheses:

f(x+5) = 7 - 2x - 10

Simplify further by combining like terms:

f(x+5) = -2x - 3

So, the value of f(x+5) in terms of x is -2x - 3.
