Which situation is an example of a time when a heath care provider should understand their limits when making decisions and providing care to a patient?

a. when a provider is experiencing pain from a traumatic injury
b. when a provider is diagnosed with a chornic illness that is medically stable
c. when a provider is tired, but mentally clear and alert
d. when a provider is working alone with no input from other team members

I'm really confused but I think it's A?

Nope.

Is it D then? And if not could you please try to rephrase the question? I want to understand the question but I can't find anything in my notes or in our previous lessons that helps.

Think of it like this..

Your helping a patient out, what do you wanna be cautious about when helping the patient?

I dunno about this, Ms Sue is pretty good, but I honestly wouldn't want a doctor diagnosing me, or writing Rx, when she was in pain at a time when she should be focusing on me, especially, if I thought I needed good judgement on what to do.

I agree with you, Bobpursley. I misread A. Of course, that's the best answer.

Thank you all so much! The wording on this question was a little tricky but I got it now.

The wording in this question is just plain awful ... and with a major grammatical error!

Frankly, now that I get it that "health care provider" = doctor, I think both A and B are correct.

What horrible text and test writers we have these days!
