I scored 5616 on my Geometry scantron but that number is to large to make any sense. Is that a good or a bad score. I'm in 9th Grade.

You are right. I found that

The scaled score is a reliable estimate of the student's ability using the statistical Rasch ... Values can range from 1300 to 3700

So 5616 does seem absurd.

Um, gee - here's an idea. Have you checked with your teacher?

To determine whether a score of 5616 on your Geometry scantron is good or bad, we need more information about the grading system or scoring scale used for the test. Different schools or educational institutions may have their own grading scales or standards.

Typically, a grading scale for a test would clearly identify what ranges of scores correspond to certain letter grades, such as A, B, C, D, or F. Once you know the grading scale, you can determine the quality of your score.

To find out the grading scale for your Geometry scantron test, you can:

1. Check the test instructions: The grading scale might be mentioned in the test instructions, either in the physical instructions or online (if applicable).
2. Ask your teacher: Reach out to your teacher and ask if they can provide information regarding the grading scale used.
3. Consult your school's grading policy: Schools often have grading policies that outline the grading scales used for different subjects and grade levels. You can look for these policies in your student handbook or by asking your school administration.

Once you have determined the grading scale and how it corresponds to letter grades, you can assess whether your score of 5616 is considered good or bad based on that particular scale.
