1. what do you think the causes of the war were.
2. what impact has the war had on life in the colonies.

The year is 1783 and the revalutionary war is officaly over. This war was very long it lasted for 8 years. I think the causes of the war were that King George the third put a lot of taxes on the colonist including taxes on paper, sugur, and tea. Those taxes made the colonist angry so they fought aganst the british to earn freedom. The war has impacted life in the colonies greatly because now we dont have to listen to King Goerge the Third and now me can live in a free country. I am glad that we won the war because mif british won we would still be under the british law and there would've never have a country of freedom.
Most colonists weren't close enough to ever hear King George.
