=)

If you are going to post on other students' questions, please use correct English.

They're all right. <~~That's what you should have posted.

=(

Writeacher, you're all right!

=)

I changed the sentence pattern as follows. Are the following all grammatical?

1. I find it good that he likes helping poor people.

2. I believe it good that he likes helping poor people.

3. I think it good that he likes helping poor people.

4. I consider it good that he likes helping poor people.

5. I guess it good that he likes helping poor people.

6. I find it impossible for him to open the door.

7. I believe it impossible for him to open the door.

8. I think it impossible for him to open the door.

9. I consider it impossible for him to open the door.

10. I guess it impossible for him to open the door.

Using "it" instead of "it's" or "it is" makes sentences 1-4 and 6-9 awkward. They are correct, but not commonly used.

5 and 10 are incorrect unless you use "it's" or "it is."

Thanks!!

Promoting proper English in the age of texting (no caps, no punctuation, unbelievably stupid abbreviations) is not easy! My grandchildren are well trained, though, at least in the text messages they send me!!!
