first I made it 20/4x-3/4x=23/x+6
Then I am stuck how to solve the rest of the equation

17/4x = 23/(x+6)
now cross-multiply (shorthand for saying multiply by the LCD):
17(x+6) = 23(4x)
17x + 102 = 92x
102 = 75x
x = 102/75 = 34/25
