Hello I'm stuck with these two questions

The point (1,-2) is on the graph of f(x). determine the resulting point.

a) g(x)=f(x+1)-3

b) -f(2x)

still a bit vague, but here goes ...

since all we know about f(x) is that f(1) = -2, we can only say that

g(0) = f(1)-3 = -2-3 = -5
So, (0,-5) is on the graph of g(x)

Setting x = 1/2,
-f(2x) = -f(1) = 2
So, (1/2,2) is on the graph of -f(2x)
