Hi Ms. Sue! I couldn't find anything on the declaration of intention on the website provided. I thought that Letter B wouldn't part of the process, but you need to have a basic understanding of the gov't and english to pass the test. And to do this you need to take a class to be better proficient.

I know Declaration of Intention is part of the process (the first step) because those declarations are some of the documents I have found on ancestry.com and familysearch.com for my great-grandparents!

How long do people need to live here to apply for citizenship?

I think it was 5 years at least. Thank you so much for your help Ms. Sue!!!
