Q: Marissa Is researching information about martial arts students. She found that 7 out of 12 martial arts students practice each day. there are 144 students at her school.

Part A: Predict how many students practice every day.

Part B: What Is The Sample Size?

I Think the answer to part A is 72, because 7 - 12 = 5 and 0.5 x 144 = 72.

I think part B is 7/12, 0.58, and 58%.

Am I Right?
PLZ Do NOT Put Just The Way To Find The Answer. PLZ ALSO Put The Answer On Here!

THANK YOU! ☺

A. 84 Students practice every day

B. 12 is the sample size because 12 students were asked

7/12 of 144=84

the sample size you have to assume is 12 because it didn't say 144 and the results she has is out of 12.

WTF PEOPLE

the answer is a=84

the answer is b=12
i swear to god and hope to die, but you will have to explain why tho.
trust me, please!
i am right!
i swear!

A 84

B 12

2021??

To me the method of your solution is much more important than the answer.

Since your method makes no sense, it would benefit you to actually care more about how the answer is obtained.

7/12 of the students take martial arts, and
(7/12)(144) = 84

sample size??
well, how many students were asked?

talking to the moonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Reiny is correct.

All you have to do is divide 144 and 12 to get 12. then multiply 12 and 7 to get 84! and 12 is the sample size because that's how many students were asked. so 84 students practice everyday
