What was the border dispute between India and Pakistan? Was it with water

No, it has nothing to do with water. It's a dispute over religion. Read lots:

Does this type of dispute relate to a Definitional Locational Operational or Allocational boundary dispute?

I don't think it does but I want to make sure.

I don't know exactly how your text defines these kinds of disputes. Read it carefully before you decide which term applies.

Definitional-legal language of the boundary agreement

Locational- center on the delimitation and possibly the demarcation of the boundary
Operational- involve neighbors who differ over the way their border should function
Allocational- involves natural resource

Well, what do you think? Pakistan wants Kashmir inside it's boundaries, and India wants the boundary left where it is now. Is that about legal language, natural resources, or how a border functions? Or is it about where the boundary should be (demarcated)?

It's not Definitional not Allocational

I think it's Locatioanl

Wait Im actually thinking Operational because in my book it gives an example where it says "If one state wants to limit migration while the other does not, a dispute may arise"

Which is sort of like "Pakistan wants Kashmir inside but India wants to leave it?"
