opinions cannot be facts.

facts are statements that can be verified or refuted by observation of many people.
Opinions can never be verified. An opinion is what someone thinks, and others cannot refute or verify that.

If you had wanted to make the statement factual, then..

<Teenagers are not the majority of the time honest with others> That can be verified, or refuted. I did not include open-minded, as that is something which is based on opinion evaluation, and I did not put the term blunt in, as again, that is a opinion evaluation term.

I think everyone, teens and adults, lie sometimes, usually to avoid hurting someone's feelings. I might say, "Yeah, that's the skinhead look!" when I really think you're skinhead look is silly and makes you look bad. But that doesn't mean everything everyone ever says is a lie. If someone has lied to you about something, that cannot logically be deducted or inducted to mean that everyone always lies about everything. You need facts, as bobpursley says, that can be verified or refuted by evidence. One liar does not provide enough evidence for your statement.
