The vector signs are above each letter (I just don't know how to show it that way)

A= 145 units @ 190 deg.
B= 75 units @ 288 deg.
C= 210 units @ 85 deg.
D= 105 units @ 355 deg.

How do I use the component Method with these given magnitude and degree???
Physics Component Method - Steve, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 12:20pm
the components are (just as in polar coordinates):

x = r cosθ
y = r sinθ

You have r and θ, so plug and chug.
STILL CONFUSED Physics Component Method - ANON, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 4:06pm
Mr. Steve, could you do an example using A. for me. I am still confused as to how you actualy plug in the numbers. I am also confused on sine and cosine and tan.. Please show step by step. That'll help A lot!
Answer This Question

if your angles are math convention, counterclockwise from x axis and not compass angles from north then just use what Steve gave you

for A
Ax = 145 cos 190
Ay = 145 sin 190 etc
