Which line from The Red Badge of Courage most clearly supports the theme of courage as Henry would define it at the end of the novel?

A. "And there were iron jaws of tradition and law on four sides. I was in a moving box."
B. "His busy mind has drawn for him large pictures extravagant in color, lurid with breathless deeds"
C. "Frequently over this tumult could be heard the grim jokes... But the retreating men apparently were not even conscious of the presence of the audience."
D. "If so be times come when yeh to be kilt or do a mean thing... don't think of anything "cept what's right"."

I read the book and all but Im confused. Please help!

honestly just a tip, when you post answers, post the answer itself, rather than the number it is under. The test questions change every few years. So when you post answers say the answer itself rather than lets say A or smth.

Umm...guys warning if you use the answeres peter put ur gonna not only fail the test but get caught on cheating because he put TXX answers whoch means if more than 3 students get the exact same answers wrong and put the exact same answers they will me marked down. This TXX meathod applies to homeschools especially connexus. Tried it my self and learned a BIG lesson..

Umm morly XD ur how did u get here if u didnt also search up this question XD XD

do not use any of the answers above.

Does anyone have the answers to the Honors Literature Unit Test?

Oh I read the question wrong... but, is the answer D?

you will have to write out the answers because the order changes for each person. so putting ABC will not always be correct for every person.
