Thank you :)

You're welcome.

The major phases of the cell cycle are interphase and mitotic phase.

1. Interphase: This phase can be further divided into three stages: G1 phase, S phase, and G2 phase.
- G1 phase (Gap 1 phase): During this phase, the cell grows in size and carries out normal metabolic activities. It prepares for DNA replication.
- S phase (Synthesis phase): In this phase, DNA replication occurs, where the genetic material is duplicated to prepare for cell division.
- G2 phase (Gap 2 phase): Following DNA replication, the cell continues to grow and replicate its organelles in preparation for cell division.

2. Mitotic phase: This phase can be further divided into four stages: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.
- Prophase: The chromatin condenses into chromosomes, the nuclear envelope breaks down, and the mitotic spindle forms.
- Metaphase: The replicated chromosomes line up at the center of the cell, with their centromeres aligned on the metaphase plate.
- Anaphase: The sister chromatids separate and move towards opposite poles of the cell.
- Telophase: The chromosomes arrive at opposite poles, and nuclear envelopes re-form around them. The cell begins to divide.

After the mitotic phase, the cell enters cytokinesis, where the cytoplasm divides, resulting in two separate daughter cells.
