Hello (again! Anywho... I was just wondering what would be the value of 2bc if b=20 and c=12. My theory is either 64 or 480? b/c 2 times b (20) equals 40 and 2 times c (12) equals 24 and 24+40 equals 64.

2 * 20 * 12 = 480

Thanks!

You're welcome.

And also... I would like to say, congrats on replying in such little time! You are like a math genius!

LOL! Please don't ask me any math problem above about 7th grade level, though! :-)

Oh.. ok well im a 6th grader that is doing accelerated math so... its kinda 7th grade level work

Hello! To find the value of 2bc when b = 20 and c = 12, you can simply substitute the values into the expression 2bc.

Multiply 2 by b (20) and multiply the result by c (12).

2 * 20 * 12 = 480.

So, the value of 2bc when b = 20 and c = 12 is indeed 480, not 64. Good job on correctly calculating the product of 2 times b and 2 times c, but don't forget to multiply the final results together to get the overall value!
