The directions are to underline the nouns in the sentence and say if they are common, proper or collective

1. The boy will go to the mall. -underline boy and mall because I believe they are both common nouns
2. I saw an orange pumpkin at Walmart.-underline pumpkin because I believe this is a common noun and then Walmart because I believe it is a proper noun. Ms. Sue said there is one more noun but I am unable to identify the third
3. King Simon was famous for his army.-underline King Simon as a proper noun and underline army as collective noun
4. A committee of five was appointed. -underline committee as a collective noun
5. He gave me a bunch of grapes. -bunch would be collective and grapes I believe would be common
6. We took the family to Olive Garden. -underline family as a collective noun and underline Olive Garden as a proper noun.
7. London in on the river Thames. -underline the word London as a proper noun and the word river Thames as a proper noun
8. The family decided to clean the house.-underline the word family as a collective noun and house as a common noun
9. Mrs. Kuniak is the principal of Spring Lake Elementary. -underline Mrs. Kuniak and then Spring Lake Elementary as proper nouns and then principal as a common noun

I did see these earlier, but could not find them now. Go figure!

That is okay. I truly appreciate you looking these over. I also have two other sentences.

1. We saw a fleet of ships in the harbour.-underline fleet as a collective noun, underline ships as a common noun, and underline harbour as a common noun.
2. The bill for dinner was not high.
Underline bill as a common noun and underline high as a common noun

In #2 there is another noun. 1 is correct.

As for the sentence where Ms. Sue saw another noun, I don't know what she had in mind. She is an excellent teacher and tutor, but we all make mistakes sometimes. She catches my mistakes sometimes, too. :) She's been doing that for over fifty years! Yes,, we do know each other in real life and have for over fifty years.
