The cost for a business to make greeting cards can be divided into one-time cost (e.g., a printing machine) and repeated costs (e.g., ink and paper). Suppose the total cost to make 30 cards is $800, and the total cost to make 550 cards is $1,300. What is the total cost to make 1,000 cards? Round your answer to the nearest dollar.

I don't even know how to find the answer. Someone please help me.

A) 2,000

B) 2,200

C) 2,364

D) 2,667

can someone help me with the entire test

It's easy, since you know the price and number of cards from the example it gives you all you have to do is divide then multiply: here let me show you:

$800 divided by the 30 cards it makes is 26.67. So all you have to do, is find out if this works with the other example like this:
550 cards times 26.67 if it equals $1,300 it is right:it is close to it, so that works. now multiply 26.67 by the 1000 cards you have to find the money amount for. it equals 26670 which is closest to 2,667 so i would choose that one.

Thats weird. I have the same question on my test but instead my answers are

A. $2,000
B. $2,100
C. $2,250
D. $2,300

As you can see, they change the answers and questions for each persons test to prevent students from cheating on tests like this. If you get stuck on one individual question however, I suggest you go to Brainly to seek help on that.

If you have the exact same question then you already know it is 2000 cuz those are the only 2 same answers in both of your answer choices.

sorry if that was really long...

Its B guys I promise I just took this test

i need help for the rest

I'm sooo confused UGHHh :P

No, It's 2,500.

Also, If you want to know all the answers it's best if you look them up separately. Everyone has different test not all the answers will be the same
