I was hoping that I could get some to look my essay and tell me the proper tenses of the verbs. In the first paragraph the imperfect tense of the verb and in the second paragraph the need to be preterit tense. If you could help that would be great.

Actually I was expecting to see an essay with 2 paragraphs. I do not see that so I'm not sure what to do with each sentence! When you say "wrong form" I have no idea why that is there? I'll take each sentence and try to make some sense out of it. Either a 2-paragrapah essay or numbered sentences will help us both to be on the same thing!
1. Cuando era un niño siempre me haría
wrong verb = era IS the Imperfect of ser but haría is the Conditional of hacer. To make that Imperfect as well = hacía = I used to (but the sentence is not finished. What IS it that you used to do?
2. tan emocionado cuando el verano vendría
wrong form = vendría is the Conditional of venir; if you want the Imperfect = venía
3. La escuela terminaría y luego la diversión comenzaría. Como un niño mi familia siempre iría
wrong form = Now I'm beginning to see what you have done. terminaría & comenzaría = are BOTH Conditional = would finish and would begin. The Imperfect would be terminaba & comenzaba (was finishing & was beginning)

wrong form = hicimos is the Preterit but if you want the Imperfect = hacíamos

"iríamos" is the Conditional again = we would go and the Imperfect would be "íbamos" = we "would" go in the sense of we USED TO GO

So far all of these are partial sentences, so you need to complete them and link them into the first paragraph, with the Imperfect, right?

Since apparently you have confused the Conditional with the Imperfect, do you need a "Review" of either or both?
Now, if I understand what you said at the beginning, the rest of the sentences should all be in the Present?

summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the Weather and all the activities that can be done in summer. In this essay I will speak about what I did in the summer when I was a child. Then I will speak about what I did last summer.
When I was a child I would always get so excited when summer would come around. School would get out and then the fun would start. As a child my family would always go to California to see my Grandparents. one of the funnest things that we did while we were in California was go swimming at my uncles house, it was always lots of fun. we would also go to the ocean and hang out on the beach. I was always sad when it was time to come home.
Now that I am older summer time just isn't the same. Last summer I was taking summer classes at the University of Arizona. All summer I was very busy doing homework and diving to and from Tucson. Isn't this the first paragraph that is to be entirely in the IMPERFECT? Did you look at the corrections I did on the separate sentences? haría needs to be hacía / I see the exact same mistakes in this paragraph that I corrected above in the numbered sentences.

Paragraph 2 = el verano no es lo mismo = omit "más vieja" as it makes no sense here
If y ou say "El verano pasado" you can NOT use the Present; therefore try "

NOT no pude = which is the Preterit, but "no puedo" = Present
y hacer las cosas = omit "no puedo"
You need to avoid the Subjunctive and Future in the last sentence and you can do that by saying "Al guaduarme, puedo tomar....etc.

I know I'm fixing this kinda late, but I just saw it and felt like it. I'm not putting any accents in, and I will not be able to explain myself. I didn't learn Spanish by the book, but as a native speaker, so I can't even conjugate the imperfect of hacer. I think I just did this for opinions on where I'm at with my Spanish. Haven't used it much in 6 years.
