I need help writing a résume and cover page. Here's the assignment:Write a letter to the address below. You are responding to an advertisement from the Willamette Company for a job opening as an office assistant. You did some research and learned that the person to whom the application should be sent is Ms. Katrina N. D. Waives. You are going to enclose a résumé and three letters of reference. Your résumé will have details about your qualifications, so you should just give a brief but inviting overview of them here. In addition, your letter will include a very important paragraph that is not normally a part of a business letter. You will tell what format you are using for your letter where you got the information on this format.

Address of the Willamette Company: 355 Buck Hill Road, Portland, Oregon 48792.

I got it all done until the 1st paragraph of the résume?

To write the first paragraph of your resume, you should provide a brief but inviting overview of your qualifications. This paragraph will serve as an introduction to your skills and experiences, and it should capture the employer's attention and make them interested to read further. Here's an example of how you can structure this paragraph:

"Dear Ms. Waives,

I am writing to apply for the position of Office Assistant at the Willamette Company, as advertised in [mention where you found the advertisement]. With a strong background in administrative support and a keen attention to detail, I believe that my skills and qualifications make me an excellent fit for this role. I have [mention relevant experience, skills, or qualifications that you want to highlight] which have equipped me with the ability to [mention specific tasks or responsibilities relevant to the position]. I am excited to contribute my expertise in a dynamic office environment and to support the team at the Willamette Company in achieving its goals."

To complete your resume, you should provide further details about your qualifications, experiences, education, skills, and any relevant achievements. This may include sections such as Professional Experience, Education, Skills, Certifications, and Achievements. Remember to tailor your resume to match the requirements and expectations of the Office Assistant role at the Willamette Company.

Additionally, it's important to include a cover page along with your resume. In your cover page, you can briefly introduce yourself, state the purpose of your letter, mention the position you are applying for, acknowledge the advertisement, and express your interest. Make sure to include your contact information and a professional closing.

With this information, you can now proceed to complete the first paragraph of your resume and work on the rest of your application. Good luck with your application!

I'm using these examples to write my résume.

Full block format but they both different.

Dear Ms. Brown:

I want you to know you have an exceptional employee, Jane Doe, in your support division. Her calm, patient manner was a great help to me when my frustration was at an all-time high. Her knowledge of the software and her remarkable problem-solving abilities are rare indeed. If the quality of a firm's employees is an indication of future success, then Doe Corporation has a very bright future.

Sincerely,

Dear __________:

When writing a letter using block form, no lines are indented. Include your name, address, and phone number where you can be contacted, as well as the date. You then include the name and address of the person you are sending the letter to.

With new paragraphs, just skip a line instead of indenting.

Add your phone number where you can be contacted in the last paragraph. If the receiver needs to use a relay service to call you, briefly explain that you are deaf/ hard-of-hearing and that s/he can call you through relay. Give the receiver his/her state relay number and explain that s/he will need to give the operator your number. Then give him/her your number.

Sincerely,
