any o-chemists out there? Some help would be greatly appreciated. So I have this compound, it has 5 C's total, a bromine at one end and 2 methyl groups coming off the 3rd C from the bromine and an OH group at the end. like this: Br-CH2-CH(CH3)2-CH2OH. Now I have to come up with a mechanism to get to formaldehyde. Any ideas of how the elimination would go??

Oh, the reactant involved is KOH. I forgot to mention that.
