This is how you do it:
First you find the surface area of the table that raj wants to cover. since the side table is a cube each side is identical
Step 2: Raj wants to cover 5 sides of the cube. Therefore the total area to be covered is 5 times 15 times 15 = 1,125 square inches
Step 3: Find the surface area of each tile. The surface area of each tile is 5 times 5 = 25 square inches
Last step: Find the number of tiles needed to cover the table, which is 1,125 square inches divided by 25 square inches per tile = 45 tiles.
