You are supposed to substitute a word that makes sense for "Answer"?
Last night , my brother gave me an answer to a secret.
That makes some sense, DE. I can think of several words that fill in the blank "Answer". Shared, told, whispered...and perhaps others. I'm still not sure of the problem here, though.
Reed is on the right track. I think it might have been better presented as
Last night, my brother ________ me a secret.
And you can prolly lose the comma.
