your doctor tells you that you and your twin sister have the same basal metabolic rate (BMR). You live independent lives and do your own thing, so how can that be? Which factor is likely the reason? A. your age. B. your appetites. C. your required Daily Values. D. your hunger.

Guys, do not listen to bobpursley's answer because it is wrong, i got it wrong on my test, the correct answer is B!!

Smooth Criminal"

As he came into the window
Was a sound of a crescendo
He came into her apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
She ran underneath the table
He could see she was unable
So she ran into the bedroom
She was struck down, it was her doom

Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK,?
Are you OK, Annie?

Annie, are you OK?
Will you tell us that you're OK
There's a sound at the window
Then he struck you a crescendo, Annie
He came into your apartment
Left the bloodstains on the carpet
And then you ran into the bedroom
You were struck down
It was your doom

Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?

Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
You've been hit by—
You've been hit by a smooth criminal

So they came into the outway
It was Sunday, what a black day
Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation
Sounding heartbeats intimidations

Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?

Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?

Annie, are you OK?
Will you tell us that you're OK
There's a sound at the window
Then he struck you a crescendo, Annie
He came into your apartment
Left the bloodstains on the carpet
And then you ran into the bedroom
You were struck down
It was your doom

Annie, are you OK?
So, Annie, are you OK?
Are you OK, Annie?
You've been hit by—
You've been struck by a smooth criminal

OK, I want everybody to clear the area right now!

Annie, are you OK?
I don't know!
Will you tell us, that you're OK
I don't know!
There's a sound at the window
I don't know!
That he struck you a crescendo, Annie
I don't know!

He came into your apartment
I don't know!
Left the bloodstains on the carpet
I don't know why baby!
And then you ran into the bedroom
I don't know!
You were struck down
It was your doom, Annie!

Annie, are you OK?
Dang gone it, baby!
Will you tell us, that you're OK
Dang gone it, baby!
There's a sound at the window
Dang gone it, baby!
That he struck you a crescendo, Annie

He came into your apartment
Dang gone it!
Left the bloodstains on the carpet
And then you ran into the bedroom
Dang gone it!
You were struck down
It was your doom, Annie!

The doctor is talking about two twin girls with the same basal metabolic rate, I do not believe the question mentioned anything about engines, engines are systems that control cars to help them drive. There isn't anything mentioned about healthy cars. I am "guessing" that this was an un-educated guess?

I agree with bobpursley, BMR means the rate at which you use energy when your body is at rest. C. is the only one that makes sense.

as much as I agree with you {?help please?}

people can type what ever they want to but it can be a little annoying but did you know people have the right to speech and text your cool just next time you want to right someone about what they text your off topic you self I am to but for a good reason it cant bother you to much its not a class room that your in with him.

I wonder what Daily Values means here. I love it when teachers make up their own terms.

Actually, this question is so poorly written, I wonder about the education of the writer. Is this person a Coach?

<<Basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the amount of energy expended while at rest in a neutrally temperate environment, in the post-absorptive state (meaning that the digestive system is inactive, which requires about twelve hours of fasting).<<

If your twin has identical, it is because you both have the same engine, and the same consumption of energy to support that engine. So my guess is answer C is meant to say, your twin and you have the same identical engines, and the same consumption of energy to support that engine. You both have the same basal nutrition requirements.
