1. You need a room more than I need a study.

2. You need a room more.
3. You need a room a lot.
-----------------
Are they all grammatical?
Did 'more' come from 'much'?

1 is fine, but 2 and 3 don't make sense.

'More' is a word used when making comparisons.
'Much' is an adjective used to indicate quantity.
===================
1. You need a room much.
2. You need a room very much.

(Thank you for your help. Are the sentences grammatical? Do we have to use other expressions?)

It would be far better to write or say any of these:

You really need a room of your own.

You need a room for studying much more than she does.

She needs a room of her own more that her brother does.
