"The City Is So Big" is the poem that creates a vision of the city, because the poem states the life a city person would go through. The subject goes about riding a unit of transportation to work, the streets were busy with people. This makes an image appear in your mind as if some are traveling by bus, checking their watch frequently, hoping they aren't late for work. You can see people all gathered around outside, coming back from school or going to eat lunch, and more.

For this unit, I chose Treasure Island by
Robert Louis Stevenson as my reading selection. This book has grabbed my attention, as it is interesting to see if Jim Hawkins and the crew manage to find the treasures that were left on a distant island, left by a pirate, Captain Flint. I haven't read all the book yet, but I keep want to go back and read more because I want to know what happens in the end, and if they end up finding the treasure or not.
