I want to boil 25c, 50c, and 75c to 100c but I don't have a thermometer. I did 0c which was 1.42 but I can't do the others.

Hi lewis,

please specify what variables (i.e.) water you are using

Lewis, I don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about. Please clarify.

To boil water to a specific temperature without a thermometer, you can use a process called the "rolling boil method." Here's how you can do it:

1. Start by filling a pot with water and placing it on a stove burner. Ensure that you have enough water to cover the coins entirely.
2. Turn the stove burner to high heat and wait for the water to reach boiling point. The boiling point of water is 100 degrees Celsius or 212 degrees Fahrenheit at sea level.
3. Once the water starts boiling vigorously and releasing steam, you can assume it has reached the boiling point.
4. Now, carefully drop the coins (25c, 50c, and 75c) into the boiling water. Make sure the coins are fully submerged and not touching the sides of the pot.
5. Keep the pot on high heat and continue boiling the water with the coins for a few minutes.
6. Remove the coins from the water by using tongs or a spoon, ensuring you don't burn yourself.
7. At this point, the coins should be hot and heated close to the boiling point of water, around 100 degrees Celsius.

Without a thermometer, it's challenging to precisely measure the temperature of the coins. However, by using the rolling boil method, you can reasonably assume that the coins have reached temperatures close to the boiling point of water. Just be cautious when handling the hot coins to avoid any accidents or burns.
