TIgers pitcher justin throws a basketball staright upward 29.0m/s.

Calculate
A) the height to which the ball will rise
b) the time it takes to reach the highest point
c) the speed with which it will return to the same height which it was thrown
d) the speed of the ball 2.50s after it was thrown

Please show all work would greatly appreciate have a test coming up and i have no idea how to even start it, Thank you

the equation of the height is

h(t) = 29t - 4.9t^2

Now just find the vertex of the parabola for the max height.

Of course, the ball comes down exactly as fast as it went up -- got to conserve that momentum, eh?
