Which of the following statements describes a character acting heroically?

A. Rab tells johnny about the British expidition to Concord.
B. Lavinia Lyte offers to take Isannah with her to England.
C. Billy Dawes pretends to be drunk in order o get out of Boston.
D. Mrs. Lapham marries Mr. Tweedie when her daughte refuses to do so.
Is the answer B?

It was C my friend helped me.

Why do you think Lavinia Lyle's action is heroic?

Because she's trying to protect Isannah.

OK.

What about Billy Dawes? Why does he want to get out of Boston?

Honestly, I would go with mostly B as the answer.(I also haven't read the book, but looking up the word "heroic" helped a lot.)

For A, telling someone about something is not usually heroic. However, sometimes it can be, but it really doesn't seem to be the answer.

For D, it doesn't seem to be the answer.

For C, it kind of sounds like he is being a bit of a "coward". This is because it sounds like he is running away from something he doesn't want to do.

I can't really tell you if I am right or not because I am just going off of what I know about the word "heroic".

I hope this helps? :)

Both of you should read this article.
