what do encyclopedia consist of??
i cant use any type of encyclopedia for my research so what would those be??
Here's my advice.
Go ahead and begin by using articles you find in Britannica or Wikipedia, but DO NOT QUOTE from them. At the bottom of any good encyclopedia article, whether it's a real encyclopedia in print format (books) or online, there are normally lots of references and links.
Use the encyclopedia article to get familiar with the topic, but then go to those references and links for the actual information you'll use in writing your research paper.

There are linked words and names throughout the article about this man, but scroll almost all the way to the bottom and you'll find References, Further Reading, and External Sources. Take full advantage of all those.
