It was late 1540s. The skies were clear when we set sail from England. The was sailing to Hawaii to find some precious gold and Jewell basically treasure. So before that we got ready by packing few important stuff that we might be needing throughout this journey. Food was one of the most important thing we needed to survive also water. The food items were bread,grains, pottage, white meat, beans ,Staples ,fruits ,nuts , vegetable , spices ,and etc... The second important that we needed was some tools. Example : compass, map, traverse board, astrolabe diagram, cross staff, back staff. You might be unfamiliar with some of them. For instant, traverse board is to record it vessel courses and speed. Back staff is use to measure angle currently without looking directly at the sun and more. Clothes were one of things that we took. We took voluminous gown called hoppelandes with their sweeping floor- length sleeves to the revealing doublets and hose of Renaissance Italy. Hats, hoods and other headdress assumed increasing importance, and we're swayed, draped, jeweled, and feathered. As a weapon we took sword because what if we get attacked by someone so we need our swords to protect our self. We took all kinds of swords short,long, and medium. These were all of the items we needed throughout this journey. While sailing to Hawaii I was thinking if we were going to find the treasure or not.
