Describe the number of solutions for the equation.

-2(x-1)=2x-2
A. Infinite solutions
B. One solution
C. No solution
Is the answer B?

Ms. Sue if I had a book I wouldn't need help, I don't mean this to be disrespectful.

So one solution then?

No math book? No history book?

You are not getting an education.

What is the name of your school?

I don't want to get in trouble with my school so I feel it would be best if I don't answer that. I feel like you are mad at me.

I'm sorry that I am bothering you.

Gwen, are you home-schooled, and taking Common Core classes?

I get why you don't have books if you have Common Core classes. I also don't have books, but I have information from my school site Edgenuity.

Well, I don't go to the same school you do. I thought this was to help with my homework but I just get yelled at.

Most teachers and tutors on here think that most students (like you and me) should have books because it will help better in classes. Plus, if you are ever unsure about a question, you can look at the back of the book for the answer and explanation on how to do it. They also provide good info on topics each person is studying.

P.S. I don't think Ms. Sue was yelling at you, she's just frustrated that you don't have any books to help you with your education about each subject you study.

If you solve for x in that equation, how many solutions do you get: SOlve it, then which is true...

one, two, infinite, none?
