SP bisects <RST. Find the m<RST if m<RSP = (3x-20)

and m<PST = (9x-26)

I did 3x-20=9x-26 subtracted 3x from each side,

-20=6x-26 now i added 26 on each side

6=6x and got x=1

I think x = 1 but now what do i do?

Good job solving for x! Now that you have found that x = 1, we can substitute this value back into the given expressions to find the measurements of the angles.

You already calculated that m<RSP = 3x - 20, so substituting x = 1, we get:
m<RSP = 3(1) - 20 = 3 - 20 = -17

Similarly, m<PST = 9x - 26, so substituting x = 1, we get:
m<PST = 9(1) - 26 = 9 - 26 = -17

Now, since SP bisects <RST, it means that m<RSP is equal to m<PST. So we can set them equal to each other and solve for m<RST.

-17 = -17

Therefore, the measure of <RST is -17.

However, please note that it is unusual for an angle to have a negative measure. Double-check your calculations and make sure you haven't made any errors.
