how do I solve for this:

If 5/6 is divided by a certain fraction, a/b, the product is 1/4. What is the fraction a/b?

Ans: (5/6)/(a/b) = 1/4
= do i need to divide both sides by 1/4 to get (5/6)/(1/4) = (5/6)x(4/1) = 20/6
= need to somehow get a/b by itself
not sure what to do...

let x be that fraction a/b

so (5/6)/x = 1/4
then by cross-multiplying
x = 4(5/6) = 20/6 = 10/3
so your fraction a/b = 10/3

check:
(5/6) ÷ (10/3)
= (5/6)(3/10)
= 15/60
= 1/4
My answer is correct
