Put the first number (x) of the ordered pair into the equation and check if y evaluates to the second number (y).
For example, for B(8, 98), x=8, y=98.
Check: y=–12x – 3 = 12(8)3=963=99,
so no, B is not the answer.
Try all the other options until you get the right answer.
