1. 6e^-x=3

2. 32(1.5)^x=640
3.5000/(1.05)^x=250
4.50(3-e^2x)=125

6e^-x = 3

e^-x = 1/2
e^x = 2
x = ln 2

32(1.5)^x = 640
1.5^x = 20
x ln 1.5 = ln 20
x = ln20/ln1.5

and similarly for the others. If you get stuck, come on back and show what steps you took. Just remember that log and exponents are inverse operations. Just as with roots, if you know √x, you square both sides o get x alone.

Similarly, if you know log x, raise e^ power on both sides

If you are given e^x, take logs on both sides.

And if the base is not e, recall that log u^v = v*logu
