How do you add π -3/2?

3.14 - 1.5 =

No I mean how do you add them using common denominator? not using decimal or calculator

pi = 22/7

22/7 - 3/2

44/14 - 21/14 = 23/14 = 1 9/14

Im using this for trig functions ....so I cannot use fraction or decimal I have to simply use π.

Im getting :
π-3/2
(2)π-3/2
***I don't know how to add 2π +(-3)?

thank you for helping

there is no common denominator.

π is irrational! That means it cannot be expressed as a ratio of two integers.

To add π and -3/2, you need to convert the fraction -3/2 into a decimal value.

To convert a fraction to a decimal, you need to divide the numerator (top number) by the denominator (bottom number). In this case, you divide -3 by 2.

-3 ÷ 2 = -1.5

Now, you can add π (-pi) and -1.5 together.

π - 1.5 = 3.14159... - 1.5 = 1.64159...

So, the result of adding π and -3/2 is approximately 1.64159.
