Explain how you know 6/6 and 1 are equivalent?
Imagine a pizza cut into 6 equal pieces. Your brother eats all 6 pieces. He ate the whole darn pizza!
6/6 = 1
1 Whole pizza
The denominator and numerator are the same so that mean's it's 1 whole.
6/6 is equal to 1 because 6/6 is a whole and 1 is a whole and is equivalent to any fraction that is a whole
