Hi! Does anyone have a very difficult exercise on future tenses (will, going to and present continuous)? Almost impossible to solve? It can be some kind of a text, or typical gap exercise but it has to be for B2 or C1. I have checked almost the entire Internet but everything is way too simple to solve

Finding a very difficult exercise on future tenses (will, going to, and present continuous) for B2 or C1 level can be challenging, but here's a suggestion on how you can create an exercise that suits your needs:

1. Start by selecting a text or creating a passage that includes various contexts where future tenses are used. You can use a news article, a short story, or even come up with a fictional scenario.

2. Identify the instances where future tenses are used in the text. Make note of the specific verbs and contexts in which these tenses appear.

3. Create a gap-fill exercise by removing the verbs that should be conjugated in future tenses.

4. Mix up the gaps throughout the exercise to ensure a higher level of difficulty. This way, students will need to think critically about the appropriate future tense to use in each context.

5. Provide clear instructions and a word bank, if necessary, to guide the students. Make sure the exercise includes a variety of future forms (will, going to, present continuous) so that students can practice distinguishing between them.

6. Finally, include a carefully crafted answer key that explains the reasons behind the chosen future tenses for each gap. This will allow students to learn from their mistakes and understand the correct usage.

By creating your own exercise tailored to your desired level of difficulty, you can ensure that it challenges your skills and helps you reinforce your understanding of future tenses.
