can I solve this by using elimination method.??
5y+2x=5x+1
3x-2y=3+3y
I think I would rearrange them into standard form:
3x-5y=-1
3x-5y=3
So the first thing I see, is there is no solution, the lines are parallel if you graph them, and never intersect. Is your teacher trying to fool you?
